Animal Assisted Therapy

Chances are Sky will greet you when you arrive in my Bellevue office. Sky is a Siamese office greeting cat who joined our family in 2018.  Sky is an 'almost' hypoallergenic Animal Assisted Therapy Cat who offers in session support.

If you haven't had animal assisted therapy before, consider that animals are always in a state of mindfulness.  They are in present time in the environment without judgment. This natural way of being for an animal reduces the threat response in humans, decreases cortisol levels, and is a natural antidote for trauma.
